How to use previous year papers
- 1. Start with the last three years — they show the current pattern and the units that repeat.
- 2. Solve with a timer before looking at any solution. Papers are 3 hours, 100 marks.
- 3. Mark every topic you got wrong and read that unit in the syllabus on the subject page.
- 4. Then work backwards through the older years for extra practice on the repeating questions.

Yes. Every PYQ bundle on this site is free to download — no payment and no signup for the papers themselves. Each subject gets one ZIP containing that subject's papers, newest year first.
Which years do the AKTU PYQ bundles cover?
Bundles cover 2016-2026 at the top level, arranged newest year first. Where older papers exist for a subject, they are included in a "bonus-old-papers" folder inside the same ZIP, so you get more than the last ten years wherever we have them.
Are these the official AKTU question papers?
Yes — these are the actual examination papers set and published by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. We do not author them; each paper carries a note identifying AKTU as its source. This site is not affiliated with AKTU.
My subject code changed. Will I still find the right papers?
Yes. Papers are matched to subjects by subject name, not by code, because AKTU changes codes when the scheme is revised (KCS301 became BCS301, for example). So a paper printed with an older code still reaches the right subject page.
How should I use previous year papers to prepare?
Start with the last three years to see the current pattern and which units repeat, then work backwards. Solve them in exam conditions with a timer before checking answers, and use the question bank on each subject page for topics you get wrong.
